LiPo BATERIES CAN BE CONFUSING!!!! But by the end of this video, you should be able to confidently purchase, charge, fly, and take care of a lithium polymer battery for your RC aircraft or vehicle!

And here are the bullet points:
1. What the numbers/info on the battery mean
* Chemistry (LiPo) - (what kind of battery)
* Voltage (cell count) - (thrust/speed)
* Capacity — Milliamp hours - (flight time)
* C rating - (how quickly it can be charged and discharged) (Higher C rating will help give longer/more powerful "bursts" of thrust)
* Balance lead - (used for safe charging)
* Power lead - (main power connector to drone)

2. What to know when buying
* Connector type
* Voltage must match your specific need
* mAh does not need to be exact

3. what to know when charging
* Can burst into flame if overcharged
* ALWAYS balance charge
* Charge at a rate of 1C - (divide mAh of battery by 1000 to get the charge current in AmpHours) (1500mah x 1C = 1.5A or 1500mA)

4. what to know when flying
* Battery will be damaged if overdischarged
* If a battery is ruptured/damaged in a crash, it could catch fire
* Try to end flights with 20% charge left over (about 3.7V per cell)
* Don't fly with a battery that is very puffy or physically damaged
