There is no virtual substitute for the weekly Jumu'ah prayer. These weekly reminders are to spiritually fortify in these trying times and keep our heart in its Friday routine of seeking spiritual insights for once we re-open our masjid, insha'Allah. Please pray Zuhr at home - preferably in congregation with your family.
Mohammed Abdul Baseer is an engineer and a former president of Islamic Society of East Bay (ISEB) in Fremont. He has been active in the Bay Area Muslim community since the early 1990s. Br. Baseer and his family live in Fremont.
This talk was delivered via the Muslim Community Center - East Bay (MCC East Bay) in Pleasanton, California on August 7, 2020.
