The closing performance of TEDxLibertyBridgeWomen 2024, the fashion show from Terike presented an exceptional experience on the stage of Katona József Theater. The more than 20-minute performance had everything: social commentary, rave music, overwhelming contemporary Hungarian fashion. This is simply a must see! A Terike from Budapest (TfB) 2020 júniusában fiatal divattervezőket képviselő Instagram-oldalként indult, ám a közösségimédia-felületet gyorsan kinőtte. Azóta független platformként működik, amelynek missziója, hogy védje és képviselje a divattervezői szakma integritását, növelje a pályakezdő tervezők láthatóságát. A 2023 nyarán megújult csapat (László Fanni, Szarvas Valentin divattervezők, Tamás Cintia, Keszeg Anna designkultúra -kutatók) a divattal és divattervezéssel kapcsolatos edukációt kulcsfontosságúnak tekinti. A Terike név szimbolikusan utal mindazokra a félreértésekre, amelyek ma Magyarországon vagy globálisan a divattervezői szakmához kapcsolódnak. A TfB meggyőződése, hogy a fiatal tervezők projektjeinek felmutatása, a problémáikkal kapcsolatos érzékenyítés a kulcs a kortárs divatkultúra (át)alakításához.

In June 2020, Terike from Budapest (TfB) launched an Instagram page representing young fashion designers, but the community quickly outgrew the social media platform. Since then, it has become an independent platform thats mission is to protect the integrity of fashion design profession and grow the visibility of emerging designers. Renewed in summer 2023, the team (Fanni László, Szarvas Valentin designers, Cintia Tamás, Anna Keszeg design culture researchers) is putting a big emphasis on education. The name Terike is a reference to all the misunderstandings that exist today in Hungary and globally about the fashion design profession. TfB is convinced that showcasing the projects of young designers and raising awareness of their problems is the key to (re)shaping contemporary fashion culture.
