I've lived with the salvaged E39 M5 for just over six months now and it's time for an update. The vibration that plagued the drive home from California was an easy fix and the broken exhaust was too. I wish I could say the same about the soft brakes.

One of the big positives, I thought, about this car was the aftermarket AVIN Avant 4 head unit. However, this continues to be a source of frustration and their customer service sucks. They say they will only provide support to the original purchaser - what use is that?

Next up (apart from bleeding the brakes once again) is getting the wheels refinished and addressing all the small dings and dents. Stay tuned!
