Jonathan A. Williams (aka "Driver Jon") behind the wheel of a friend of his' built 2015 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, putting it through its paces for its new owner. What the owner didn't tell him was that while the brakes pads on the car were "good", they were used STREET pads/setup.

The pads pretty much disintegrated after just a handful of laps on the GP course, which led up to THIS video: complete loss of brakes at over 100mph!

Luckily, while never having experienced anything like this before, Jonathan was prepared. Good thing the STi has such a well balanced chassis so he could pull off the "Subbie-Slide". Ruined a new set of tires, but saved the car.

Just goes to show you how quickly things can go "south" for you on the track - have a plan!
