How to install acoustic panels and should you leave an air gap between the wall and the acoustic panels. A lot of people say you should but have never actually tried it.

A lot of the time you will not hear the difference between having the Acoustic panels flush against the wall and leaving an air gap. But there are some circumstances where leaving an air gap is beneficial and I'll talk about that in this video.

There's also the question about acoustic foam and what should be done with those. Acoustic foam is very different than acoustic panels and ill answer some of your questions regarding placement of acoustic foam versus acoustic panels and wether you should put mass loaded vinyl behind the panels for better results.
