In this video, I compare the commercial release of Ben Folds' "Bitch Went Nuts" (from his 2008 album, Way to Normal) with a remix/remaster that I put together using the track's stems--demonstrating the effect that brickwall mastering can have on the fullness and punchiness of a track.

Mine is a preliminary master-- I'll probably be tweaking my version a bit in the future. At some point, I plan on having all remastered tracks from Way to Normal available on my YouTube channel.

Why am I remixing and remastering this album for more dynamic range and better sound quality (especially since that's what Ben Folds' Stems and Seeds release aimed to do)? Because I'm a nerd, and Stems and Seeds wasn't good enough. "Bitch Went Nuts" still requires some tweaking, but I still wanted to include it in this demonstration. What can I say-- I like the song.

:-)
