Models at Dutch fashion brand Botter's Autumn Winter 2023 Paris Fashion Week menswear show wore 3D-printed trainers created in collaboration with sportswear company Reebok.

Called Reebok x Botter Sneaker, the colourful trainers were 3D printed by technology brand HP using an industrial digital manufacturing technology called Multi Jet Fusion.

Each trainer, which comes in either a solid block colour or an ombre two-tone colourway, is a crossover between Botter's Banker shoe and Reebok's football boot silhouette.

The design takes cues from the shape and structure of seashells with chunky soles with ridged edges that recall the curls of seashells.

"Botter is known for its love and commitment to protecting our oceans," said Botter. "The design started with a structure that mimicked seashell growth – we found many similarities within the structure of seashells," the company continued.

"We ended on the Murex Seashell as the final design inspiration; we loved that this was an object that Greek Goddess Venus used to comb her hair with."
