On this episode of Fixin It with Matt Gray All Day. I go over a very challenging and difficult project that I started back in October 2020 and continuing, which is Amy a 1957 Chevy Bel Air 4 door sport sedan. During 2020 aka the pandemic time I started getting the mechanic bug after my dad was getting frustrated on his 57' Chevy 2dr which needed some love and some mechanic work and kind of jumped in on working on that one first. When it comes to figuring out or problem-solving stuff I'm always brainstorming something or looking up the answer. I ended up buying Amy at an auction as a possible restoration project, but possibly for parts, but after hearing the story about her it really changed my mind and decided on restoring her. She was a mess and needed a major restoration job as she was a driving car till 1990 after the brake system gave, had a blown head gasket, the radiator was jimmy rigged to work, and numerous other stuffs. After sitting for 30 years inside and outside the environment started to get to her in the open spots. This video is for many that are new to what's in store on this channel and on this journey of getting her up and running again. P.S. I'm not no mechanic expert I just learn as I go. Everything takes time, so keep your look out in April for some videos on Amy.
