10:06 Long Range Model S Acceleration vs Plaid

Join me for a ride in my brand new 2022 Tesla Model S (formerly long range) with the new diffused taillights and LED headlights. I picked this electric vehicle up on Saturday morning and have been driving it all around town. It took a long time to get my hands on the new Model S, but I am very glad I waited for the new updates, as they add just that extra touch to the look of the electric sedan.

I went with the black and white premium interior with the walnut décor and the red metallic exterior. The 2022 Model S is rated for 405 miles of range with the 19-inch aero wheels that I went with. This EV offers 0-60 acceleration time in 3 seconds, so it isn’t a Model S Plaid, but very fun to drive, nonetheless. One of my favorite features in the new 960-watt surround sound audio system which is incredible.

All new Teslas come with an AMD Ryzen chip that is supposed to over PS5 level of power. It is hard to say how close it comes to a PS5, but this Tesla’s screens are very responsive, offer a high resolution and are generally satisfying to use. The 2022 refreshed Tesla Model S is already one of my favorite cars ever and I am just experiencing all that it has to offer.

I haven’t taken the Model S on a road trip yet, but plan to do so soon and will test both the cabin noise levels and real-world electric car range. Be sure to subscribe so that you don’t miss these videos. Thank you so much for watching my initial impressions and thoughts on the refreshed Model S!
