This Optimum blender from Froothie looks great. I will share it in action in some future videos but I tried it out making hummus and I'm quite impressed. Nice and smooth, very powerful but not too loud (just what I look for in a blending experience).

I noticed in some written reviews online for the G2.6 that people find the lid too hard to put on and remove. I was worried about this too at first but if you push the lid down firmly with both hands, it secures nicely. To open, just lift up from the side tabs. I found it quite easy and the good fit is reassuring.

This is my first experience with a high speed blender, but the build quality seems good and I like the simple design. It's a thumbs up from me so far!
