Breaking the fourth wall is when a character in a play, whether in film, television, theatre or literature, addresses the audience directly or somehow acknowledges their existence as part of the fiction.

•This game is located between chapters Mizumono and Primavera: Will was hospitalized for the wound in his abdomen. Although it was an almost surgical cut, Will suffered a significant hemorrhage that could have complicated the situation. He's not awake yet.

🕛 Young Hannibal is aware of what his history as a character is and only of some external elements (Hannibal Rising) kind of "restricted knowledge".
🕐 The same with this Will, he has programmed in his "code" to work as a SUPPOSED replacement for Clarice and that is what predominates. The other Will or other Hannibal have no place in this Bryan Fuller narrative.
🕞 Will found a version of Hannibal that managed to stay in that place of "frozen" time (he doesn't look at Will because that's the way the scene is, however he talks to him because he has certain freedom since it's not such an important scene for the development of the rest of the series).
🕜 It's "punishment" because Hannibal understands it by that; being a character and limiting yourself to his role without free will is a "curse".
🕒 There is no authority of temporal variation here, let's say that the story restarts itself in the face of any changes or irregularities: THEY cannot go off script (unique and sacred timeline).
🕥 The death of Mischa and Abigail, etc. everything that happens in the story that we know are absolute points. At least in this AU there is no possibility for nexus events.
🕦 This version of Hannibal in Florence remains even after the reboots; it has been "existing" in this form for quite a while and developed a certain immunity.
🕘 This Hannibal doesn't have a Will yet but he knows about its existence and comforts himself by drawing him in detail.
🕥 The series restarted when Will of the Present (Mizumono) took a chapter break to The Wrath of the Lamb.
🕚 This Will really wanted to hug Hannibal (without 🔪 in between), hold him so he wouldn't leave and if he leaves anyway, let it be by taking Will with him so they don't go through separation.
