👋 Is it finally here?! After nearly 2 years of waiting to buy the 2023 Nissan Z Performance manual, I finally have one sitting next to my brand new manual Supra! So I sold my 2020 Toyota Supra 2 years ago in order to buy the new 2023 Nissan Z. I was ready for another manual car and the Z was just being unveiled at the time. However after 18 months of waiting and luckily experiencing several Nissan Z cars and even more Supras, when a manual transmission 2023 Toyota Supra came up for sale at my dealer, I just couldn't say no! Even tho the manual Supra costs about $6,000 more than the comparable manual Z Performance, I really liked the better handling of the Supra, more character, nicer refinements and the comfortable seats. Supra is certainly a step up! However the Nissan Z gives you a fast fun to drive sportscar with better space and practicality for a more budget friendly price point. So in todays video I take delivery of the spec Nissan Z I was going to order! I love the blue color and it would have looked good in the driveway! I have this car for a week and get to really put it to the test to see how the manual Supra and Z stack up. At the end of the day the Nismo Nissan Z will be the one that I'll want to buy. The Supra is just a step up in performance and I feel much more comfortable sitting in the seat then the Z to ware I just couldn't buy the Z Performance. As long as the Nismo Z has bucket seats and better suspension, I'll be for sure buy that car! The Z performance is a good car for someone who doesn't care about the extra refinements and probably isn't going to push the car as hard and need the better handling, and wants to stay under $60k even after for mods. So the new Nissan Z certainly has a good market for it and it will be fun seeing more and more out and about! Excited for the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo tho! That next to the Supra will be some fun! This was also the first time driving a Nissan Z since I bought the new Supra. There is definitely a big difference with how the cars feels. Z seats are just too small and I feel way too on top of them. Suspension is also too soft to handle as tight as the Supra. So I think the Z just needs better seats and suspension to truley be close to the Supra. So hopefully the Nismo will solve that!
