We took the AutoTrain from Sanford, Florida to Lorton, Virginia, as part of our trip to Long Beach Island, New Jersey where we are doing landscape paintings en plein air.
This was the very first time we traveled using the AutoTrain by Amtrak and only the second time riding Amtrak (Our first Amtrak train experience was a couple of years ago when we rode coach from Orlando to New York City. Our return trip, at that time, was by plane)
