As some would remember, I had previously uploaded a demo song titled 'Summer Crush' earlier this year in January, fast forward to now and last Thursday was the first day of Spring giving us an early taste of the forthcoming Summer, the track is completed but it doesn't just stop here. I had met a musician by the name of 'Velvaluna' around mid January after seeing her perform in a bar in Lausanne and I approached her after her performance and we talked about music. I left her my contact and a few days later, I got a message from her about a potential collaboration project we could work on to which I agreed to without question. We sent each other a few demos until we sticked with the 'Summer Crush' demo, she had previously listened to the demo and liked it a lot and we decided to finish it together.
She particularly liked the downtempo feel to it and the vocoder section, she composed the secondary piano melodies and some new synth parts as well plus she also suggested we use more of the vocoder elements pitching them and slicing them up too, we were basically exchanging files, I got her parts and I sent her mine and we then had a listening session at my place which was super satisfying and I'm happy to finally be sharing it on the channel.

The song isn't too different from the demo but you can tell it is different as there are additional parts included that weren't in the demo and it's a little longer as well clocking at around 6 minutes which gives listeners more time to delve into the song.

Thank you Velvaluna for your contribution to the song, I'm looking forward to collaborate with you on some future projects hopefully and I also want to thank you for introducing me to new ways of making music.
