It's officially been five years since the Blue and Gold schemed buses hit service. The scheme was a part of Governor Cuomo's plan to "[reimagine] the MTA for the 21st century and [create] a transit system that will meet the needs of the next generation of New Yorkers”. These buses come equipped with WiFi and USB ports, and since 2018, the buses come with information screens.

You'll see videos of the Blue and Gold scheme on New York City Transit and MTA Bus Company buses in neighborhoods from all over the 5 boroughs. Nearly every single depot in the city has buses in the "Cuomo" scheme, and most of the ones that don't have them yet are expected to get them later this year.
