In October of 2019, Wadley St. Pierre was fired from Nestle as a result of a massive layoff after working for them for 5 years as a driver.
After being laid off, Wadley decided to never leave his trucking career and financial well-being in anyone else's hands.
He did some research and decided to start his own trucking company. Wadley connected with a friend, who had some experience hauling flatbeds. He purchased a truck and step deck trailer &they started running teams.
After about 6 months, Wadley decided to dive into more specialized freight after working for the load boards &seeing where the money and opportunity were. He keyed in on“heavy haul”.This would be a smooth transition after training with the flatbed.
Heavy haul trucking includes anything beyond conventional dimensions, including oversized freight, wide loads, & heavy equipment such as escalators & army tanks to airplane parts. These loads generally can exceed 53ft in length and 80,000 lbs in gross weight.
Heavy Haul trucking operators require specialized trailers, loading, &offloading skill, & a knowledge base. As a result, you can expect to be paid in proportion seeing anywhere from 10k to 50k paying loads. In fact Wadley’s first year in business he was able to take home 380k after expenses with One Truck and one RGN Trailer. Recently, Wadley purchased a second trailer and is positioned to expand his operation & wants to bring awareness to the BIG OPPORTUNITIES In HEAVY Haul trucking.
