I am making a battery relocation kit for the Rx8. Kit would include everything required to mount a sealed AGM battery in the trunk of the vehicle. (ETX30L)

-CNC cut and TIG welded battery box, powdercoated a textured black. Mounting plate included that will work by sandwiching the floor of the trunk behind the pass-through panel. All hardware included for mounting.

-2awg high-strand copper wire for all the wiring.

-A wire to go from starter main harness positive, ran through the vehicle into the trunk to a 200A circuit style resettable fuse. Then a short lead from the fuse to reach the battery positive at the battery box.

-Two ground wires for the battery.

-Two ground wires for the engine block to chassis.

-60A in-line circuit style fuse to retain the EPS power mounted to the fuse box or body/frame.

All wires have 100% copper terminals properly crimped at their ends and marine grade (adhesive lined) shrink tubing to prevent water penetration into the wires. All components are being made in the USA.

This is going to have literally everything (minus the battery, that can easily be purchased online or locally).

I'm only making 10 for this first run.

The closest things I could find for off the shelf were some things made for batteries like odyssey and those tie downs ran about $150. No wiring, no fuses, no solution to mount the battery to the trunk floor, nothing. Just a battery box/tie down.

Price for these complete kits (powdercoated battery box and mounting plate, 2awg wiring and all grounds, 200A battery fuse, 60A EPS fuse, all hardware) is looking to be $319 free shipping and all fees included in the continental 48.
