The Republic of Korea Air Force display team, the Black Eagles have been in the UK for a number of weeks, preparing for their UK & European airshows.

Flying eight examples of the indigenously developed and afterburner equipped KAI T-50 Golden Eagle advanced jet trainer, the team were reformed in 2009 and this marks only the second time they have visited Europe.

The team have been based at MOD Boscombe Down, and following a number of individual test flights, this is the first 'shakedown' formation flight of the team in the UK, in 2022.

Filmed in the skies over Yeovil and RNAS Yeovilton, this is a first glimpse of what the Black Eagles will have in store for the many thousands of airshow goers this summer.

They look to be warming up nicely....
