HMTV's World Tour - Take 2 mins from your day, buckle up and sit alongside some world class drivers as they hustle their historic cars around circuits and hillclimbs from around the world!

This week we cross the water once again to Sebring, another historically famous circuit. The film is a race start from the Sebring Classic 12 hour event hosted by HSRRace.com in an Aston Martin DP214.

The car is a recreation of chassis 0195 driven famously by Brian Hetreed, commissioned by Robert Rawe and built by Aston Martin experts Rex Woodgate and his team. The original car - chassis 0195 - drove at both Daytona and Sebring, so - Robert - decided to rewrite history and return to circuits at the HSR recreation of these classic endurance events. The full story of this trip, and the history of the car, is written up in Auto Addicts - Volume 1 (see :https://www.autoaddicts-shop.com). Sadly Rex Woodgate passed away this summer, but his legacy continues with Chris Woodgate and the rest of the team.

Sebring circuit is a flat- ex-airfield - like many circuits around the world - however the huge expanse of concrete at Sebring, which is marked out with tyre walls, makes reading the road ahead, and find entry and braking points pretty tricky. That said, despite this being their inaugural visit to Sebring the Brit team still came home with a class award!
