Gemma Burr, Horticulturist at RHS Garden Wisley, shares her top tips to make a garland using natural materials and foliage you might have in your garden.
In December 2023, we were asked to make traditional wreaths and garlands to decorate Westminster Abbey for the 'Together at Christmas' carol service hosted by HRH The Princess of Wales. Gemma Burr and the team at RHS Wisley created two 10-metre long garlands with evergreens from our garden. With these tips, you'll be able to replicate the garlands at home!
