►Have you heard an extremely concerning grinding sound from the center of your F30 BMW 3-series? There's a good chance that a simple fix to the parking brake cable will solve it all.

Running from the interior back to the rear calipers, the parking brake cable locks the rear calipers when you pull on the handbrake. The cable runs along the transmission tunnel to the back of the car and is held up by a clip on the fuel tank. That clip has become a common failure point for the F30, allowing the sheathed cable to rub on the drive shaft and cause very concerning grinding. Unfortunately, the retainer clip is above the fuel tank and can't be accessed without dropping it. However, AGA Tools has just the solution.

In this video, FCP Euro's BMW Expert, Gareth Foley, resecures the parking brake cable on a BMW F30 328i.
