EAM Jaishankar said arrests made by Canada in killing of Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar was its internal matter. He said that India will wait for Canadian police to share information on the three Indian men it has arrested. Jaishankar added killing of Nijjar was an outcome of internal politics and had nothing to do with India.
