Getting parking brake shoe springs on and off is very difficult. What I found easy to do is first, remove the 2x 5mm hex shoe holder screws, spread the shoes at the rear of the hub by hand and take out the adjuster, then the rear spring comes out, then get the shoes over the hub and pivot the part in the front around the pin to release the cable.
