Every new folding phone that launches is good news for those of us who believe that foldables are the future.

Competition drives down prices; it spurs innovation; it increases choice. So I’m happy the Mi Mix Fold from Xiaomi exists – even if right now, I can’t think of anyone here in the US I’d actually recommend it to.
