16 Quran Verse for Protection by ErHamni Ya Rahman
These verses are often recited as a means of seeking protection and refuge in Allah (SWT) from various dangers and harm. It's important to note that the recitation of these verses should be done with sincerity, faith, and understanding of their meanings.
وَلَا يَـُٔودُهُۥ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْعَظِيمُ ٢٥٥
and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest. (2:255)
فَاللّٰهُ خَیۡرٌ حٰفِظًا ۪ وَّ هُوَ اَرۡحَمُ الرّٰحِمِیۡنَ ﴿۶۴﴾
But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful. (12:64)
وَ حِفۡظًا مِّنۡ کُلِّ شَیۡطٰنٍ مَّارِدٍ ۚ﴿۷﴾
And as protection against every rebellious devil (37:7)
وَ حِفۡظًا ؕ ذٰلِکَ تَقۡدِیۡرُ الۡعَزِیۡزِ الۡعَلِیۡمِ ﴿۱۲﴾
That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. (41:12)
وَ حَفِظۡنٰهَا مِنۡ کُلِّ شَیۡطٰنٍ رَّجِیۡمٍ ﴿ۙ۱۷﴾
And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] (15:17)
اِنۡ کُلُّ نَفۡسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَیۡهَا حَافِظٌ ؕ﴿۴﴾
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector. (86:4)
بَلۡ هُوَ قُرۡاٰنٌ مَّجِیۡدٌ ﴿ۙ۲۱﴾
فِیۡ لَوۡحٍ مَّحۡفُوۡظٍ ﴿۲۲﴾
But this is an honored Qur'an. [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. (85: 21 & 22)
وَ یُرۡسِلُ عَلَیۡکُمۡ حَفَظَۃً
and He sends over you guardian-angels (6:61)
اِنَّ رَبِّیۡ عَلٰی کُلِّ شَیۡءٍ حَفِیۡظٌ ﴿۵۷﴾
Indeed my Lord is, over all things, Guardian. (11:57)
لَهٗ مُعَقِّبٰتٌ مِّنۡۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡهِ وَ مِنۡ خَلۡفِهٖ یَحۡفَظُوۡنَهٗ مِنۡ اَمۡرِ اللّٰهِ
For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him (13:11)
اِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا الذِّکۡرَ وَ اِنَّا لَهٗ لَحٰفِظُوۡنَ ﴿۹﴾
Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian. (15:9)
وَ کُنَّا لَهُمۡ حٰفِظِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۸۲﴾
And We were of them a guardian. (21:82)
ۗوَرَبُّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَفِيْظٌ ࣖ ( سبإ: ٢١ )
And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian. (Saba [34] : 21)
اللّٰهُ حَفِیۡظٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ۫ۖ وَ مَاۤ اَنۡتَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ بِوَکِیۡلٍ ﴿۶﴾
Allah is [yet] Guardian over them; and you, [O Muhammad], are not over them a manager. (42:6)
وَ عِنۡدَنَا کِتٰبٌ حَفِیۡظٌ ﴿۴﴾
and with Us is a retaining record. (50:4)
وَ اِنَّ عَلَیۡکُمۡ لَحٰفِظِیۡنَ ﴿ۙ۱۰﴾
And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers. (82:10)
