In this video we teach you how to install an occupancy sensor light switch. Occupancy sensor light switches are light switches that have an occupancy sensor or motion sensor built into the light switch to automatically turn on or off a light switch when occupancy or motion is detected by the built into the light switch. The occupancy sensor light switch we installed in the video is also a dimmer so you can control the lighting levels. The occupancy light switch shown can also be used in a 3 way light switch configuration for if needed.

This occupancy sensor light switch can also be programed to set the sensitivity of the occupancy sensor and the motion timer delay to automatically turn the light switch off after a certain amount of time.

How To Install Occupancy Sensor Light Light Switch:
1. Turn off power at circuit breaker for existing light switch.
2. Confirm the power is off at the light switch with a non contact voltage meter or visually.
3. Remove the existing cover plate from the light switch, by removing the two screws holding it in place.
4. Remove the light switch from the junction box with by removing the two screws holding it in place.
5. Pull the light switch forward so you can assess the wiring and take a picture of the existing wiring.
6. Remove the existing wiring from the terminals
7. Wire the existing wires to the new occupancy sensor light switch terminals
8. Re-install the new occupancy sensor into the junction box with two screws.
9. Install the cover plate on the new occupancy sensor light switch
10. Restore power at the circuit breaker and test occupancy sensor.
