There has been a lot of buzz about the new all-new 2025 Subaru Forester and its debut at the LA Auto Show today. It was so great to see it in person and although it looks quite different from the outgoing model, it still offers the versatility and practicality we expect from the Forester. Many of you have been waiting for a hybrid powertrain, Subaru confirmed one is coming for 2025, the gas model will launch next spring first.
The gas model has the same 2.5L 4-cylinder matched to a CVT, it gets 180 horsepower and 178 lb feet of torque. The horsepower number is down by two from the previous model but you get a bump in torque by 2 lb-ft. There have been updates to the CVT for a smoother and quieter performance, there's 10% stiffer torsional rigidity, it's more aerodynamic and more comfortable. The all-new 2025 Subaru Forester comes with a 7" touchscreen with wired Apple Carplay and Android Auto, available 11.6" touch screen with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto. Other available features include, ventilated front seats, driver seat memory, power front seats, heated rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-camera, heated steering wheel and a kick sensor for the power tailgate.
