Decentralized Finance has matured significantly since the ‘DeFi Summer’ of 2019/2020. During this time, we have seen an explosion of apps, infrastructure, and protocols, alongside an influx of capital into the flourishing sector.
Although DeFi has started to attract the interest of institutional players, taking the plunge comes with its own set of challenges, from the underlying volatility of crypto assets to governance issues, clear market access, operational issues and lack of liquidity (to name a few).
In this panel, we will examine how institutions are navigating the complexities of DeFi, while discussing the emergence of ‘institutional DeFi’ products that are looking to meld the innovations of DeFi with the safeguards of traditional finance.
Speakers:
Lex Sokolin, Managing Partner at Generative Ventures
