TAPE 07+08/12 (May 9, 1995)

This segment, or rather the tapes that hold it, bizarrely have excerpts of supremely rare program guide schedules for Microsoft TV that the outlet that printed these tapes left in. Intentional or not, this does give more information of where and when these programs were broadcast, even mentioning being broadcasted in Europe for select programs.

As the segment starts, it cuts to a scene of Elliott Masie at the beach (or greenscreen, rather) while Hawaiian music plays in the background. This scene was foreshadowed in the previous segment where Elliott hinted that he was getting married, although not in the way that would've been generally expected. After all the verbose dialog from the previous segments, this one really sticks out in an otherwise mostly business-oriented series. The Hawaiian music in question is a track by Jon Jelmer known as "Hawaiian Breeze", which is a sign that the world of Microsoft takes place in the same universe as SpongeBob SquarePants. Anyway, since Elliott is on vacation and temporarily absent, another host fills in for him this segment; that host being Beata Baker, who conducted a number of demonstration programs since 1989.

Joseph Davies, who is part of the World-Wide Training for Windows 95, demonstrates the NetWare networking features of the operating system in the next part. At 2:55:32, a mention of build 330 can also be seen.

A new subset portion of these segments come into play with the TechNet CDs being advertised, essentially being a source of information regarding various topics about Microsoft products and services, all of which is hosted by Mary Haggard. Alongside that, Bob Taniguchi from the first segment makes a return here to do conversation between the two hosts to answer questions both frequent and from the answer line.

Oh, and they finally fixed the typo for "Corportation" at the end of the segment.
