Nvidia has announced a pair of improved "Ti" series cards, the 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti. The 3080 Ti looks nearly identical to the flagship 3090, missing only a few processing cores in return for a price drop down to $1,199 (still incredibly expensive, but better than the 3090 at $1,499). In our testing, the performance difference was minimal, despite the 3080 Ti only having half the graphics memory of the 3090. These cards will launch with a "hash limiter" to try and dissuade crypto miners from buying them up, but it remains to be seen how easy it'll be to find one for sale.
