Fingolfin, the first High King of the Noldor in Beleriand, was one the most valiant of the kings of old. After much strife with his brother, Fëanor, he would assume the kingship, and lead his people through Beleriand's greatest time of peace. After a devastating loss, he rides to Angband, challenging the dark lord Morgoth himself to single combat.
