Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter gave remarks on Feb. 3 to members of the U.K. Parliament and special guests as part of the Lord Speaker's global lecture series. President Carter addressed the Center's continuing 30-year international campaign to eradicate Guinea worm disease, followed by an audience Q&A. The event was webcast live from the historic Robing Room, House of Lords, in the Palace of Westminster.
