This trip cuts a diagonal line across North Carolina, as we head from Asheboro to the Charlotte area. We'll begin at Asheboro and take NC Route 49, then NC Route 73, to Mount Pleasant and then to Concord, North Carolina, home of one of my favorite antiquing stops, Gibson Mill.
