It is not hard to whittle out a set of Rudiger Roll aka Fire Roll boards... the top and bottom boards. I had planned on searching the woods and burn pile for a good, straight grained, and clear 8" chunk of log to make them out of. LOL! I didn't have to go far. The 12' Pine log right there at the fire table had a good enough piece in it to use.
