Hot rodding 2.0! Spied at Holley High Voltage 2022 -- Snow's C10 squarebody Chevy pickup with a reVolt Systems drive unit and AEM EV controls. We talked to Snow and reVolt owner Eddy Borysewicz about the setup, which uses a reVolt CR-43 motor/inverter that in the simplest sense starts life as a Tesla LDU and is machined to be longitudinally mounted for traditional RWD Hot Rod setups. The engineering is more complicated than that, but the end result is a gorgeous motor ready to output up to 570 HP and over 800 lbs-ft of torque at the yoke the moment it starts to spin. This power is controlled by an AEM EV VCU200 with AEM EV's Tesla Inverter Control Board, which we co-developed with the awesome team at Cascadia Motion.
