When I dor inside the QX55 it struck me: we aren't seeing the death of the sedan, we're simply seeing it morh into a high-riding liftback that's lifted-sedan shaped to the casual observer. The QX55 follows the "coupe-like" styling trend we've seen from Europe for a while, which, honestly, just looks like a sedan profile. Like the GLE "Coupe" the QX55 even sports a vestigial "trunk" behind the rear doors. While this QX is unquestionably less practical than the QX50, the form factor honestly makes more sense than a traditional "sedan." But then there's the engine and transmission combo. Oh my.
