While I'm using Doug fir shafts, wood dowels would work as well. The point on this arrow is forged from a piece of 3/8" steel rebar as weighs in at 150 grains. The arrow is spined for a 52 pound centershot bow, which works great out of this 60 pound Bear Cub shoot-around longbow.
