'Erik' the 1980 Opel Kadett D had a very 90's single wiper conversion which made 'Mobi' the mobility Kadett very smug with his three forward facing wipers. I needed to reinstate a second arm to effectively clear the screen on the driverside and make the car ready for all weathers again. I cut the missing section from a derelict doner to weld in using rent free gas on my Jefferson 185amp Mig Welder from E Fox Engineers Ltd, which I had only used set up for gasless wire until now. I was very pleased with the result and can see potential for a higher standard of work with more practice. I sprayed the repair temporarily with paints from MicksGarage.com.
