Do you know the real reason why Kyrie was able to make this insane left handed floater for the win? Watch this:
Yeah, much like Lebron James and Russell Westbrook, Kyrie is another superstar who’s naturally left handed but grew up playing basketball with his right.
So this shot is actually well in his comfort zone.
To make things even crazier, Kyrie played the entire game without any food or water because of the Ramadan fasting. This makes his performance and game winner even more impressive.
BTW this is the perfect moment for you to grab this Kyrie T-shirt from my merch store and support the grind. The link is in the description.
Last night we had another crazy finish in Detroit where the Pistons could have easily beat Miami if it wasn’t for Duncan Robinson keeping the Heat alive with crazy heat check type of threes.
And that brings us to the final minute where Miami is clinging to a 2 point lead, but then Cade Cunnigham ties it up.
This is where the chaos begins as the Heat don’t really have an idea what they’re doing on this possession and it ends up in a turnover, so now the shot clock is turned off and the Pistons can take the final shot for the win.
But in a total brain fart moment, Cade lets it fly way too early, so then…
What a shot by Adebayo to give the Heat a crucial win in the playoff race. But at this point Detroit invents new ways of losing games. Only Cade knows why he did what he did.
Now, I mentioned the Duncan Robinson heat checks, but Bobby Portis had a spectacular night as well against the Phoenix Suns.
With Giannis missing this game,
Portis stepped up and was basically unguardable going 5 for 5 from downtown, and finishing the game with 31 points on 65% from the field.
Thing is, the Bucks overall were blazing hot in this game shooting 58.5% from beyond the arc.
The Suns battled hard to come back in this game but this was Milwaukee’s night,
as Dame matched Portis with 31 of his own, and everyone else contributed to get a huge win without Antetokounmpo.
Next, San Antonio vs Brooklyn was a block party and you know who was the host.
Wembanyama had an unreal game of 33 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 blocks. I mean… he’s literally doing everything possible for the Spurs.
And in the clutch he did this to protect a 1 point lead.
Despite the initial call, this was reviewed and ultimately it was a good block, allowing San Antonio to seal the deal and win it in overtime. Maaan, this kid is unreal.
So yeah, Luka and Kyrie had a huge game last night, but in my last video I talked about how they are bringing back lob city with some crazy alley oop passes. They are rolling right now and you gotta check out this video right here. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
