👋 Today we check out our 2024 Audi RS3 alongside a brand new 2024 Audi S3 Prestige! We paid $65,000 for our RS3 and it took about 18 months to arrive with our allocation. You can go to any Audi dealer and most likely buy an S3 right off the lot. Now a fully loaded 2024 Audi S3 Prestige like the one shown in the video costs over $60,000! At that price point I don't know why you wouldn't just get the RS3 to have the more performance focused vehicle. Still just as refined and luxurious the RS offers everything the S3 has, but 100 more horsepower, more powerful brakes and tighter handling. Drawbacks on the RS3 if you really not into performance, the brakes are touchy and the transmission is a bit clunky in slow speeds. S3 is toned down to be an easy car to drive in the slow speeds. If you spec a more basic S3 Premium you can actually build one for under $50,000 which is a good chunk less then the RS3. If you go more middle of the road Premium Plus, you can add the Tech package, adaptive suspension and Nappa leather package and be around $55,000. So to me I think a Nice Premium Plus gives you the perfect blend in options and performance for a good amount less then the RS3. The Audi S3 is fun to drive with the 4 cylinder engine and still packs a good punch to get up to speed and have some fun in the back rounds. We sold our 2016 S3 for the new RS3 and there certainly is a huge performance difference. So at what price point would you buy an S3 over the RS3 and feel you got a good car for the money? RS3 is fun to see the upgrades and overall Audi did a good job making the S3 and RS3 different enough in performance to feel like different version, and they are priced well too! Prestige S3 is a bit much tho! ;)
