We are sleeping in the most unusual accomodation ever: A Japanese Internet Cafe! This is a very well kept local secret and we got this tip from a japanese family. We slept overnight in one of these Japanese Internet Cafes in Kyoto, during the most popular Japanese festival. After our booking got cancelled we find ourselves open for paying hundreds of dollars for sleeping in a bed in Kyoto. Many of the people we meet on the road tell us that we should book one of the expensive accomodations because it's festival day. However, the saving solution came from a wonderful Japanese family who told us one of the best well kept secrets in Japan : Internet cafes! We we shocked to find so many people choosing this option.
