STEAMING TIME: 20 MINUTES AT MEDIUM HIGH HEAT. AFTER 20 MINUTES DO NOT OPEN TYE STEAMER LID FOR 5 MINUTES.

INGREDIENTS
500 grams all purpose flour (3 and 1/3 cup)
2 tsp. instant dry yeast
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 and 1/4 cup water (280-300 ml.)
1/3 cup shortening or 1/4 cup oil

filling
500 grams ground pork (skin removed)
3 stalks of onion leeks
1/2 part of large onion
1 pc. chorizo
1 tsp. garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper


siopao sauce
500 ml. (2 cups) water
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp. liquid seasoning (optional)
1/4 cup cassava flour or cornstarch
1 tsp. garlic
black pepper
