When Suleika Jaouad was only 22, she was diagnosed with MDS and AML, and has since received two blood stem cell transplants. She’s a New York Times bestselling author, prominent speaker and creator of a popular newsletter and community project, the Isolation Journals, joined by over 120,000 people from around the world. That’s exactly why she was chosen to receive the inaugural Be The Match INSPIRE Award.
