This is not spiritual mumbo jumbo - just pure physics.

You can’t hear 120 Hz nor the trippy effect we discovered on your phone. Earphones or speakers recommended.

Shoutout to the priest’s son and my childhood friend @_the_bhat_07 for the help!

Every object & enclosed space carries its own natural frequency. This is called its resonance.

If you play this frequency back at the object or space, it begins to vibrate. Play it louder - and it shatters.

This is how opera singers shatter champagne glasses with their voice.

Every time I’ve chanted Om in a temple, I’ve wondered what it would be like to chant it at the resonant frequency of the chamber.

So I set out to try it.

My learnings:

1. Simply playing the resonant frequency of a closed space back to the room makes it feel alive & meditative.

2. We chant Om (Aa—uu-mm) as these vowel sounds cover all harmonics. Doing this in the resonant frequency feels like you’re flying through time & space

3. Playing with the pitch of the “mmm” allows for the cross-modulation / LFO effect you can hear in this video (if listening on earphones/speaker.)

4. I didn't know how to chant until @dragomfruit unlocked my voice.

5. I understand psy trance now
