To promote fresh growth buds and blossoming on my Owari satsuma tree, I've opted to harvest all its fruits. Over the winter, the tree was housed in my compact orangery in the backyard and received no watering. Consequently, the fruits have deteriorated, losing their juiciness and flavor. I've contrasted them with a Miho Wase or Mihowase satsuma from South Africa, purchased at Asda supermarket. This variety, known for its early ripening, tends to be smaller and sweeter compared to the Owari Satsuma.
