When our brain decides on a goal, or a target, our body has the capability to respond to that signal.

Waltz also mentions,

This concept doesn’t mean that you are a machine, but that your physical brain and body functions as a machine that YOU operate.

There’s a lot more to this in different techniques and habits. But, what you tell yourself, positively or negatively, your body and your brain perform to the level of your expectations. You give it an input, it will produce an output.

So, as humans, if we want to achieve something, we need a direction that we can allow ourselves to go toward.

We need a system that leads us to that goal.
