'TIS THAT TIME again where I existentially stare into the abyss that is my wardrobe and ponder to myself: "Why did I buy this?" or "I haven't worn this in 4 years, WHY IS IT HERE?". And so what is the logical thing to do?? PURGE. I haven't done this in the new house yet and boy howdy, I was very overdue. Usually I just end up donating a lot to my local thrift store, handing the bags over like a baby on a doorstep in those old movies, and not worrying about what becomes of it in its later life. BUT NOT THIS TIME. In an effort to be a bit more responsible about where my clothes end up, I'm going to try to find more suitable homes for them, whether that be shelters, museums or people who will be great new adoptive parents.
I also decided I wanted to try to fix and modify some of the items that I was THIS close to getting rid of, since I think that also is a part of being more mindful. YES OKAY long novel aside, I hope you ENJOYYYY.
