Step-by-step guide on recharging / refilling AC air conditioner on Nissan Rogue SUV. If you are on the budget and cannot afford paying high fees to recharge the a/c then this is something you might consider.

Before you can start you will have to buy a/c recharge kit which consists of a/c recharge hose with a gauge and couple of a/c refrigerant cans.

Screw a/c refrigerant can to one side of the hose and then connect other side of the hose to the low pressure charging port on the vehicle. Now turn the knob on the hose all the way in to pierce the can. Start the vehicle, turn ON the air conditioning and set fan speed to the highest setting.
Proceed outside and start turning the knob on the a/c recharge hose. This will charge the system. Keep monitoring the gauge on the hose as you have to be careful not to overcharge the system. Overcharging the system might damage the a/c compressor.

All this will work in case there is no leaks in the a/c lines and a/c compressor is working. In case of a problem you will have to take the vehicle to a licensed mechanical shop for proper diagnostics and repair.
