Patients living with cystic fibrosis are given a better outlook with the introduction of a drug called Trikafta. Over the years the median age of those with cystic fibrosis has increased and trikafta is seen as the next step in help for those living with cystic fibrosis. The drug, highly effective CFTR modulator therapy, has seen great results including regaining lung function, coughing less, and even not requiring a lung transplant. This could not be done without the help of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. More information online at www.slucare.edu
